Words

drive

"Friends give each other goodbye hugs, riiight?" playfully she asked, acting dumb.

I smiled an understanding but equally playful smile, looked over at her as I turned onto the street of her house.

"Naw, you know it's better for both of us if we don't." I said, hiding how I really felt. The words almost choked me on the way out.

"Okay..." She replied sadly.

I would've hugged her. I would've hugged her and never let go.

But I guess the timing just wasn't right.

sweet dreams

i dreamt of you. i walked up to
you and said hi.

you looked at me, smiled, and
said hi back.

thinking about you

just like, everyday

getting over you

One day, i will be able to drive past
these beautiful skylines with you.
It's hard to do anything
that doesn't remind me of you.
Even after all this time, I still
look for you.
And one day, maybe one day,
I can love you like mine again.

pier

    Concrete pier, endeavoured

                                         Wanderlust heart, trespassers

We shouldn’t have entered

Warm summer night, air breezes past

Hands intertwined, our souls were tied

Our souls were tied,              our souls were tied

    You and I

    We shouldn’t have entered
